Ubisoft eggs 12-year-olds on to play "kinky challenge," "sexy" game -

Gaming powerhouse Ubisoft has a fluffy filler title coming out that is hoping to profit on the party gaming trend, originally kick started by titles such as Mario Party and plenty of others. This one's a tad more risque.

It's a seemingly low budget title called "We Dare" and it's going to be available soon-ish on the PS3 and Wii for £19.99 in the UK. The official blurb is: "We dare is a sexy, quirky, party game that offers a large variety of hilarious, innovative and physical, sometimes kinky, challenges. The more friends you invite to party, the spicier the play!" Screen capture below.

What could possibly go wrong with a PEGI 12+ age rating? Yes, effectively Ubisoft is selling a game in the "Sexy Party Game" genre to pre-teens. While we're viewing this as a humorous marketing fail, we can't wait to see what happens when the tabloids clock on. Not quite up there with the vibrating Harry Potter broomstick toy but still questionable.

Next time your hormone-confused kids have a sleepover, you can sleep well yourself knowing that Ubisoft has released a game to 12-year-olds that recommends "kinky challenges" to the teenagers downstairs.

One mother, speaking to TechEye, says: "I really think that's wrong. They shouldn't be using the word sexy for 12 year olds, let alone kinky. I'm sure most parents would agree."
