Chancellor George Osborne today revealed some details on plans for East London Tech City - including confirmation that Barclays and Vodafone will be investing. He called it a "triple whammy" because they were joined by a Japanese social gaming business, Gree.
The announcements seem to preempt Osborne's hope of a venture capitalist circle-jerk for technology startups. Barclays is going to provide funding to Central Working - which lets offices to start-ups - with the aim of nurturing 22,000 new businesses over the next five years, reports the FT, but exactly how much the bank has invested was not disclosed.
Vodafone, meanwhile, has promised that it will build a technology lab. The announcements are sort-of new: both companies said that they would invest when the Coalition's plans for a technology park in the East London were first announced.
Social gaming company Gree, which has a strong lead in the Japanese market, has also committed to opening an office. Gree already has offices operating in Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Dubai, Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, and San Francisco. An Italian company called Morning Boost has also said that it will open an office and create 50 jobs.
Facebook, Google, Amazon, and the Silicon Valley Bank have all made announcements about operating in the capital this year.
"You will not find a country anywhere in the world that is more open to technology, more open to investment, and more open to business," Osborne said.
Of course, there are plenty of technology success stories in the UK already, such as Cambridge-based ARM, which is currently trouncing the competition in energy efficient chip IP, and Rockstar North in Scotland immediately coming to mind as obvious examples. But the East London Tech City initiative seems more concerned with moving cash through angel and investment schemes for moneyed men to invest in start-ups than actual technological innovation.

What eludes almost all is that within Reality/Divinity/Evolutionary-Spirituality, colours only exist after Light/White or non-Light/Black whereas within Relativity/Humanity/Materialism/Devolutionary-Spirituality, colours are all there is. Witness therefore, Fame, Fortune & Immortality [FF&I] and how it is the be-all, end-all for almost all. This is the so-called “secret” behind white light which is that it is the resurrection/integration/source of the colours which begns with Red and ends with Violet. Red-Yellow is the colour of The Earth/Ego and Blue-Violet is the colour of The Sky/SuperEgo with the middle being Grass/Green. Hence RGB and vision.
As such, to reach the shore of Divinity, one needs to be able to see/experience Spirituality such that one may then be able to truly choose between Reality or Relativity. Before this moment of vision, one is blind to Spirituality/Absoluteness which then means that gambling is all there is. To gain sight of The Spiritual, one must be Pure within Desire. But guess what almost all [will] do? We Expect-Demand/Desire Purity first and last whilst forgetting that there is no such a thing as The Desire for Purity when The Purity within Desire is lacking. We want all the colours/FF&I first before the moment of choice between White & Black, which is impossible. The joke then is that for the blind, Light/White and non-Light/Black is all there is – just like what happens when a non-thinker, like an animal or an infant, tries to think. Some might be able to remember when they were infants and were encouraged to start developing their thoughts. That was what your pet dog was doing when you tried communicating with it via a new word. It cocked its head as it tried to comprehend your new instruction which it lacked the thought for because it could only perceive shades of Light and non-Light.
Real colours/diversity, therefore, is only possible after having chosed White instead of Black, White being the portal to Colours/Diversity and whose [sole] duty is for realising/resurrecting Collectivity/Unity. For those blind to Absoluteness/Spirituality, those whose first and final mistake was to see colours when there is/are only superficial/artificial colours. For those who have yet to realised their blindness, which is that they only have White or Black and not the colours spun by The Bookie and His Tentacles, it is benevolent to realise that Spirituality not only exists but that the mythical within Spirituality, Devolutionary Spirituality, too exists and these Stone Dead are working feverishly to institute their Master’s Choice, to force The Divine to end it all via the so-called Armageddon whereas The Divine’s plan is to bring forth The Apocalypse for The Bookie, His Tentacles and their Tag Alongs, many of which are at The Helm of the Affairs of Men. As for those who gambling with The Bookie that Fame, Fortune & Immortality is all there is, it is essential to uncover that the conveyance of The Final Rider of The Apocalypse, The White Horse, is being constructed to remove all that is devolutionary to humanity, The White Horse being the humans who were partial/of The Living-but-Dead/part-vegetation, part-animal but who have become The [Truly] Living, oka the fuller/full/spiritually-evolved humans.
When the SS Humanity is sinking, the Righting, Saving, Airy-Fairying, and other Nonsensical & Frivolous Zist und Zat Orchestras might be heroically swanee-ing to keep the Colourful Spirits of Fame, Fortune & Immortality flying higher than high, but it will all be for vanity because those who know that they have [firstly] wronged themselves before unleashing their wickedness onto others, are not only addicts denying their affliction but are instead Bearing False Witness against their neighbours. An addiction might be the wrong to one self but to finger-point at another to deflect one’s affliction is to wrong another and that cannot be forgiven because the act lacks forgiveness, Forgiveness, like all principles, being of self first before being of others/another. It is wise to realise that those who only looked human but are otherwise not so, The Stone Dead, lack conscience which all true humans have. Just because a stone do not mind staying under water to test itself does not mean a stupid-dumb human should – unless one is “elected” into government to save others sort of dumb-stupid justification.
Partial humans are truly of stupidity-dumbness because we are able to justify/rationalise our blindness – through the generosity of The Bookie, of course. Just like the “generosity” of some Chancellor and his pals. What the vacuous have yet to realised is that even a simple human is infinitely better than any machine [because he is has been potentialised to realised Infinity] and than humans are not for sustaining Taxation & Credit but for expressing Joy and that just because real/absolute Joy might not be universal that that is the reason not to give it a go. For what it is worth, The Divine disagress otherwise humans would not have made it past the chimpanzee stage.
