Users of the Apple store were waiting with baited breath yesterday after the Apple store posted its famous yellow stick note.
For those who don't know, the yellow sticky note says "We'll be back soon" and means that the site will be off for a night while some fixes are installed.
The site was offline for some time, so users expected something special. We understand that some started lining up outside stores in expectation that their credit cards were about to be assaulted again.
After all, Apple has several product lines that are due for updates soon, and Apple fanboys, who mostly know little about technology, assume that this will require tinkering to the Apple Store.
However, the innovative Apple team spent the off-line time to, er, update the "we'll be back soon" sticky note.
Apparently this took the Apple geniuses all night to do.
Still looking at the comments, Apple fanboys took it all in their stride and held a wake for the old sticky-note which took all night to fix. Others saw it as a pretty good sign really, but they were uncertain what of.
After all, who was it that said: "It was because of impatience that they were expelled from Paradise; it is because of indolence that they do not return."? That's right - Kafka too.
