Updates to this story
For the first time ever, the FBI has declassified files and details of encounters with UFOs from over 50 years ago.
Found in the Vault, the archive backs up theories that extra-terrestrials landed in the US town of Roswell - before they were sent to the infamous Area 51 US airbase.
The documents are made up of memos, witness statements and findings of the events, which were sent to the bureau's director Edgar Hoover. Flying Discs are mentioned. There's one account from a special agent where he says three circular-shaped spaceships crashed containing the bodies of extra-terrestrials which were only three feet tall, lending credence to theories that the CIA enslaved an off-course alien passenger ship and forced them to ride at the Grand National for eternity.
Other witness statements come from a policeman, a highway patrolman and an army guard, who all claim that they witnessed a UFO on the night of April 4th 1949. The very date a disastrous election week for the Labour party kick-started in the United Kingdom!?!?!?
All reported seeing a "silver coloured object high up approaching the mountains at Sardine Canyon", which then "appeared to explode in a rash of fire".
Other reports from residents, who claim that they saw what appeared to be "two aerial explosions, followed by falling object," back this up.
It's a good thing to know, then, that a retired computer consultant and Brooklyn resident has set up a 24 hour UFO hotline.
Joe Capp, 68, is running the hotline, which according to the New York Post has already taken calls of nearly two dozen sightings from around the city. offering people a way to report bizarre goings-on scoff-free. Until Capp uploads the lot onto Youtube.
He says that of the calls he's taken the most memorable has so far been from a woman who spotted three lights moving in unison in the sky over Park Slope, sounding not unlike this convincing amateur footage shot in Peckham.
Those chasing UFOs are merely rainbow hunters. Their desired is always there but never reachable because like reality, it is a matter of a change of state and not its ownership thereof. Like all dreamers and not actors, nothing is going get done unless you start doing something. Unfortunately for “UFO hunters”, the requiste action is beyond the aura of a human - beyond as in impossible - unless one is also into “Auras”, another airy-fairy, mumbo-jumbo myth because reality is not about ownership issues but about reality issues. Those who have zero concept of ownership will never be owned and when it such a state, freedom is then a principle and not a concept. Only those who are truly freed/free of myths/religions/attachments will be able to hear and see “UFOs” - just before the departure of the toothfairy, of course.

this was also my birthday!......April 4th 1949. \
Sadly, this faux FBI BS story has made the front pages of all the Chinese-language newspapers in Taiwan, where the gullible readers believe everything that has the word FBI in it as gospel truth, and they are now inteviewing the local retired chap in Taiwan who runs the Taiwan ROC UFO club and yes THEY have landed here too.
re: "Other [faux] witness ''statements'' (sic) come from a policeman, a highway patrolman and an army guard, who all ''claim'' (sic) that they witnessed a UFO on the night of April 4th 1949."
They saw a light in the sky. It was a natural phenomenon or an airplane landing or taking off. they did not see any UFOs. Sad the the world still gioes for this bullsheet stuff from America. Notice how MOst of the UFo sighgitngs int he world and landings and abductions are from the rich white USA religiously nutters country! Poor countries can't be bothered with UFO sightings, and Europeans are too smart for this. Only in America, Hollyweirdland!
By the way, Andrea, why not do a story on the retired man in Taiwan who is running a 24 hour hotline for POLAR CITIES....? a bit more important then UFOs, no?
dunny
According to dumb Capp, people are hesitant to step forward after seeing UFOs due to the deep scrutiny they face after coming forward.
“They get slammed by UFO researchers and they get slammed by the media,” he told AOL News.
“The minute they come forward, they are on trail.” [SIC[; ][TYPO - ****TRIAL!]
So now whenever you see an object in the sky which you aren’t sure about (hint: it’s probably a balloon), call Capp. Against his better judgment, he believes you.
tel: 202 - 789 - 3411 ...****HINT: write 3411 upside down to see what it spells out!
"Whatever we do will be dedicated to gaining a better understanding of this subject and advocating compassion for those honest and courageous people who experience and report the UFO phenomenon."
Capp's UFO hotline isn't the first of its kind -- larger groups such as the National UFO Reporting Center and the Mutual UFO Network accept calls from witnesses.
But in the wake of recent UFO sightings in the Big Apple, perhaps New York City needs a hotline of its own.
"New York deserves it, right?" he said.
Sponsored LinksThe New York City UFO hotline grew out of a monthly discussion about UFOs that Capp has hosted at a diner in Manhattan since 2007.
He started the hotline in February and says he received about 20 calls in the first two months. But in the past few days, since news of the hotline spread online and in an article in the New York Post, Capp says he has fielded an additional 20 calls.
Cappnut says:
" NY UFO Meeting Group" has a new hot line for the UFOs, Hauntings and the **Paranormal too***in the New York City area. UFOs ARE NOT A MATTER OF FAITH FOR ME. I moved to New York with nothing and was somewhat successful. I've worked on the railroad and as a certified alcoholism counselor to teenagers with addiction problems and their families. Later I went back to college and started a computer consultant business, and retired in 1997. I witnessed two disk craft in a daytime sighting in 1962. I have witnessed the "impossible" and so have others. Joseph Capp
