The E=mc2 theory championed by Albert Einstein is "a liberal conspiracy" according to Conservapedia.
The website, which is described by the New Scientist as "a sort of conservative alternative to the more familiar online encyclopedia Wikipedia" has lashed out at the theory posting a page on it's site titled "Counterexamples to relativity".
It said: "The theory of relativity is a mathematical system that allows no exceptions. It is heavily promoted by liberals who like its encouragement of relativism and its tendency to mislead people in how they view the world."
The Theory of Relativity was Albert Einstein's formulation in the early 20th century that gave rise to the famous theorum that E=mc2. In simpler words it basically said that energy is equal to mass times the square of the speed of light.
However, it's no secret that the world is split when it comes to this theory with religious organisations claiming it's a load of old rubbish. And Conservapedia sides with religious groups listing 30 counterexamples to general relativity, any of which, it claims, "shows that the theory is incorrect".
These include bizarre explanations such as "the action-at-a-distance by Jesus, described in John 4:46-54." Apparently, Jesus's ability to instantaneously heal a child from a distance – his healing powers travelled through space faster than the speed of light – was evidence enough to rule out Einstein's theory.
Yes, well done - Einstein's Theories ARE a little wrong. That was the first thing Stephen Hawking accomplished in his lifetime, and began his international reputation in the field of Physics; he made Einstein's Theories WORK! A statement like that is the equivalent of condoning a tracheostomy because Aristotle's rules of anatomy aren't modern enough. If Conservapedia honestly has to shout out an opinion to the world, they should at least get their facts straight.
The ranks of the extremist right-wing are increasing, sadly and the quest for knowledge is decreasing. Could explain why we (the U.S.A) are now 12th worldwide in college graduations.
How much scientific measurement is not possible if Einstein's observations are not to be correlated?
The only liberal aspect of absolute zero physics are the concessions made to language-usage in the practice of not narrowing the pluralities of definitions for the word: theory.
These so-called "Conservative" efforts against science are more apt to preserve ignorance, and thereby force potentials to be of purposefully low yields with their own purpose driven madness.
If these fruits were to be brought unto Adam to see what he would call them; he would no doubt, eschew them as propagandists, covering the truth of creation and their poor, blind and naked ignorance, with figments meant to draw the third part of the stars of heaven into their own evil feudal agendas. HA! and spew them from the mouth as lies, neither hot nor cold.
I've been hoping for a counter-movement to start up called "Picnic" with the tagline "we brought the sandwiches".
I bet it's a Brit only saying ..... sigh
It's all a liberal conspiracy to make us afraid of nuclear weapons which don't even work. The liberals want us to be afraid so that we are dependent on government for protection.
Can't you people handle the truth.
Prove it.
Furthermore, Conservapedia is conflating physical relativity with moral relativity, two completely different concepts that happen to share a word.
I completely agree with Mr Bones - it's a mental disorder.
Are we sure that Conservapedia isn't some kind of huge ironic joke?
No it hasn't thats just repeating the waffle of the pseudo-intellectuals or watching too much "history channel". The US Military have released a paper to clear up this issue with the relativist cranks, GPS uses Newtonian physics not Einstein. Why not use that piece of dormant matter between your ears instead of spewing quotes in a parrot like fashion, Why did NASA spend billions on gravity probe B (Which of course failed) they could have just asked the military about GPS?
