A Tory website which was set up to ask Brits which stupid laws they would like repealed seems to have had an overwhelming response calling for the end to the law of thermodynamics.
Each law has been roundly debated and the common belief, before a Tory Party activist realised what was going on and shut down discussion, was that the laws of thermodynamics had had their day.
Obviously the first law which says that heat cannot be destroyed but only be converted to another one is complete anathema to your average Tory. After all heat can simply enter the country and change into something else. It can also claim several benefits at the same time.
The second law "heat can spontaneously flow from a higher-temperature region to a lower-temperature region, but not the other way around" has totally failed to keep people coming from warmer countries and taking British jobs.
The third law which says that as temperature approaches absolute zero everything stops. Has been a principle that has run the British Travel networks for years, but it is perhaps time for a change.
It is not clear when the Law of Thermodynamics first came onto the statute books. Apparently the first one was dreamed up by Alexander the Great's teacher Aristotle and the second one has been around since the 19th century.
Obviously laws that have been around that long should be considered "up for review" but no one seemed to suggest that the law of Gravity should be appealed.
The http://yourfreedom.hmg.gov.uk/ site was the Brain Child of David Cameron's fag Nick Clegg who needs something to do otherwise he will end up demanding proportional representation again.
Reminds me of the article I read about a meeting between Obama's automotive 'experts' and the G.M. chief engineer, where the engineer, citing the laws of physics, tried to convince the political butt-boys that their demands were a bit unreasonable. To whit, the head butt-boy wanted to know about these "laws" of physics, who had passed them, and declaring that now that THEY were in charge, well, by golly, those laws would be promptly repealed!
Why is it only stupid shits get involved in politics? Is it because nobody else will hire them?
Should you have the ability to truly create energy, would you want to horde it [or anything] – which then begs the question, who are those who are always on the accumulation prowl, oka those with ownership issues, the “knowledgeables”. The accumulation of knowledge without experiencing/expressing it is but a myth but then, the whole of Relativity is on such an illusory ride, and when it comes to “knowledge”, everybody wants a slice of the action, be the action, “news”, “gossip”, and their tag-alongs – the drive for voyeurism fulfilled by The Digital Era – not that it is anything new other than how it spreads and manages to mesmerise almost all it touches. You can’t redress energy levels through mere knowledge/a-potential/masculinity, you have to let its empowerment/kinetic/femininity complete that task.
Within Reality, knowledge existed first with its empowerment fulfilling its last whereas within Relativity, empowerment has to arrive first before we are able to make sense of anything Real. That’s why knowledge has only potentialised Reality to humanity through the allusion that It exists and it is through The Empowerment, latently waiting within all true humans, that the return journey towards The Big Bang, oka “Resurrection”, will be conducted, and when it comes to Reality, we really, really, know nothing, but through The [repeatable and verifiable] Experience, all will be firstly shown, and thence finally known.
The Universe doesn't give a crap if we, as a species, live or die.
Oh, I know, Batty must be one of those "scientologists", like all the other "enlightened" fools like Tom Cruise and the rest of the Hollywood ignorati.
