More women are getting addicted to internet porn as a method of coping with anxiety.
According to the UK's main porn counselling service, Quit Porn Addiction, one in three clients are struggling with their own porn use.
Founder and counsellor Jason Dean said that two years ago there were no women who showed up to be counselled.
While more than six out of 10 women say they view web porn, one study found that 17 percent of women describe themselves as "addicted".
Dean told AP that getting his first female contacts about two years ago was fairly unusual but now he gets inquiries from 70 women a year. In the old days it was because their partners had the problem, now it is is because they do.
He said that there was the same pattern of exposure, addiction, and desensitisation to increasingly hardcore porn. It reaches a point where women become more like men in their attitudes to relationships.
The only thing different between male and female porn addicts is that women feel more guilty about it.
Dean said that porn addiction is seen as a male problem - and therefore not acceptable for women. Women feel that what they are doing "is bad, dirty, wrong and they're often unable to get beyond that."
He said that after a while the PC becomes an erogenous zone. The more you keep trying to put porn out of your mind, the more it keeps popping back in.
Guilt happens when one has too much consicence, thereby harming oneself in the process of reacting to this state of existence, the favourite pastime of the sympatheticos. As a result of this over conscience, the resultant act of lunacy is to feel guilty. Guilt is only possible when one has recognised that an error has been made [and believe it or not, the egotisticals not only lack conscience when behaving badly, they really cannot see their true position of behaving badly/immorally]. Now, what does, say, The Catholic Church” do in such a situation? They have some human, self-cum-mutually declared as “priests” to hear and be driven to insanity by “confessions”. Should one be a “fundamental Moslem”, what will one do after seeing all this malarky? After the giggle turning into a roar of a laughter, comes the finger-pointing [with disbelief] followed by the asumption that “that lot” are truly insane and lack authority/moral grounding. And they are correct, of course. You really, really, wanna know the truth, ask your “opponent”/enemy for his view and it will be correct if only because when you are “for”, you’ll never see the bad side and should you be “against”, you’ll never see the good side.
When a human’s fontanell bone area ossifies/hardens, he assumes an identity which usually is his given name [although he could, say, be identified as a dumb genius who cannot even wipe his bottom but could play piano like the devil and so forth]. Thereafter, a human cannot be taught, he has to learn. When such an individual refuses to learn, he will then be taught and being taught when one lacks the capacity and capability to learn means being made to step onto that platform known as Guilt-Anger. If true, and it is true, all finger-pointing does is to make a person either guilty-angry or angry-guilty. As such, guilt is refusing to change in order to prolong/keep promoting the misdeed - an Addiction.
Addictions are not just some greeny loony smoking or drugging to the high heavens or some politico coming out of the closet, it is everything that humans do which are devolutionary - behaviours which turn from mere habits into insatiable habits, specific wants being satiable [to a point] but not in general. Fopr example, the contemporary addiction to gadgetry is truly insane and inhuman. Humans are living entities and materialism is for our living purpose - to express love thereby eliciting true joy and not for liberating living-but-dead euphorias and ecstacies. Joy has no “unjoy” much like Divinity has no “un-divinity”. This is because you cannot find/derive relativity/the-unreal from Reality, there being no such thing as darkness within light, darkness being the state when light is absent. As such, the unreal is a myth, a simplicity which not only eludes but must be realised before any human could start offering solutions or viewpoint about Reality/Sanity.
When it comes to addiction/going-nowhere-other-than--round-and-round, The Bookie is in His domain. He can spin that wheel for however long He wants and the circulatory mesmerised/addicted will still be blindly believing that they are the privileged, talented and special progressing ahead of others, paving/lighting the way into unchartered territory and be crowned for it. To be the first such that the last will be there to worship their first. And look where such blind faiths have lead most to? Into addictions, the underlying ones being the deadliest, being invisible to the mesmerised and the joke is that the deadliest of addicts/addictions have the gall to judge & jail/finger-point at the honest addicts/addictions. Isn’t the world topsy-turvy? Women watching porn? It takes two to tango doesn’t it or is going solo the contemporary breakthrough that the religiosity of the material-intellect have been searching high and low for. In Reality/Truth, what most deemed as unpalatable and unsavoury is found not only next door, but is actualy within one’s household, should sincerity be at the helm.

Why is only ONE out of THREE clients of a service called "Quite Porn Addiction" struggling with porn addiction?
Are one in three attendees at Alcoholics Anonymous non-drinkers, also? Are one in three people quitting smoking actually non-smokers to being with?
WTF? Seriously, WTF? I think the real problem here is the DUMBING DOWN OF THE NEWS to such an extent that the NEWS ITSELF MAKES NO SENSE.
I'm going to go watch porn just to forget that I read this stupid un-thought-out article.
