A Bosnian girl who was apparently asked by her gran to drown some unwanted puppies has been crucified by the Western press when a video of her actions ended up on YouTube.
A team of hackers at 4chan managed to identify the girl based on the video image code and some local knowledge. With Peta and its ilk baying for blood the Bosnian police are now obliged to arrest and charge the girl.
Bosnia has rules against animal cruelty but no one has actually ever been charged. Mostly because of a problem with stray dogs and partly because police have other things to worry about.
The girl, who appeared to be in her teens, lives in the central town of Bugojno. The 44-second video showed her casually taking the squealing black-and-white puppies out of a white bucket and tossing them into the fast-moving river one by one.
4chan users correctly identified the Vrbas River in Bugojno as the scene of the puppy-throwing incident, and identified the person who filmed and published the video.
They then circulated the names and Facebook profiles of two girls who were believed to have been depicted in the clip.
One was incorrect and a German girl was wrongly identified and received hundreds of calls and even death threats.
Transformers director Michael Bay offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the girl. Twilight star Kellan Lutz wrote on Twitter that he had ''never been so disgusted before'' and that the video was ''so incredibly disturbing and plain out wrong''. This is odd given that we wrote the same thing in a review about Twilight: New Moon.
But the strange thing is that someone managed to rescue one of the puppies and despite the outcry about the treatment, the dog still has not been given a home. It looks like those who think something is wrong and are prepared to judge someone for a solution that they can't face are a bit short when it comes to providing a real answer.
The case mirrors something similar in Bulgaria where an attempt by the authorities to kill huge numbers of street dogs was stopped after Western pressure from animal rights groups.
However the westerners have no concept of what it is like to be brought down by a pack of street dogs and if you survive you are forced to have weeks of rabies injections.
Anyway, the girl has since said sorry online while those with little sense of perspective continue to feel outraged.

Life has zero meaning should one be unaware of one’s true value. Relating-to/comparing-with/judging-at those who are less fortunate is about saviourship-cum-worship and little else. Whom was punished for “natural” disasters which took real lives and not mere animal lives? And what of the person taking the video? Would you be filming your wife being raped? You would !!! May one have a copy please such that after watching the evil event, one may then be able to report the matter to the “authorities” - on the “web”. Looking at it from a valued perspective, being able to demonise is like saying that you are not only not [that] wicked but that you are actually saintly when compared to your demon.
The speedy and easy access to gossip and voyuerism within contemporary Westernised culture have truly made idiots and lunatics out of most of its adherents. Everyone is out to self-elevate through promoting their Fame, Fortune & Immortality, oka ”Others” [for without “Others” there is nobody to elevate against], but almost none bothers about the living within himself. The biggest joke is when the living dead within gets to demand that the living dead within others becomes the living through the expedient use of tree-stumps as their catalyser. AIDS, for example, is not so much about copper, “collateral damage”, antidotes, and so forth, AIDS is about the lack of morality/Morality and transmitting one’s “behavioural excesses/inconsistencies” onto one’s pet dog [what do you mean the quacks have yet to established the connection] is much the same as throwing those puppies into the river [and ignorance is no excuse]. And that is just the dog, how about one’s children/progeny? Where are the tree-stump rightists when you needed them, eh? Perhaps they are out “infecting” their children, partner, friends, work collegues, faced-off twits, and much more. Much, much more. Which US animal 'rights' activist group kills more dogs and cats than any other by far? Why, PETA. These 'people' are wretched, low-life, lower than trailer trash, degenerate dickheads.

It appears that it's just a cynical old woman trying to make money off the awful incident. Some are saying she made up the story to protect the girl, but I'm too cynical to believe people at this point.
Even if the dogs were saved, and they weren't, the author here suggests that the only solution is for people who outraged to adopt these dogs.
The author is incredibly missing the point.
People who do work with animals realize they have to be euthanized at times. When my 2 dogs get old and sick and they no longer get anything out of life, I'll be merciful - but mercy isn't making a game out of killing them. I'll take my dogs to the vet to be put down with a barbiturate overdose, and if I can't do that, I will take a gun to their head, and I will pull the trigger, and in an instant they won't have a brain. I could use NO2 and a bag to first make them high as a kite, then to kill them via oxygen starvation. If I have nothing like that, a large stone and a carefully directed powerful blow will do it. There's many ways to do it correctly.
These dogs were thrown into a river. Who knows how long they survived before they died? When you have to kill an animal, you make certain they're dead and you do it as quickly and as painlessly as possible. A humane hunter (and most actually are) doesn't go around trying to blow off the legs of deer, he tries for a clean shot, and a clean kill. If I have to kill an animal, I do my best effort to make it quick and painless.
This girl didn't do that. Those dogs certainly are dead now, but they were not killed in an humane way.
That she didn't think to kill the animals humanely is a tragedy in itself. That her brother thought he could upload this to the Internet, where people range from 5 to 85, and nobody would be bothered is just nuts.
This sort of killing is not allowed in my society, and it shouldn't be. David Motari got what he deserved, this girl and her brother, they live in a society that doesn't appear to have a heart - that's what most people are subconsciously thinking.
Stupid sheltered amerifags think to themselves, why don't they just throw them in the dumpster, flush them down the toilet or give them to the animal shelter. Because it's a rural community and there isn't a shelter you stupid fucks.
