As readers around the world know by now, Asians are in love with Steve Jobs, the real one and the fake one, as they'lll eat up anything with "Steve Jobs" in the title.
Recently, the Taiwanese had the wool pulled over their eyes by some low-lying "translators" in Communist China who put out a fake advice book by Jobs - for teenagers in China!
The Beijing-published book was titled "Steve Paul Jobs's Eleven Pieces of Advice for Young People Today" and it was written by the long-dead American composer "John Cage."
Of course, it was never penned by Steven Paul Jobs or John Cage, and merely took past speeches by Jobs and turned them into eleven lessons for teenagers in China.
This reporter recently purchased a copy of the book in Complex Chinese characters in a bookstore in Taipei. and discovered via the ''publication notes page'' that the counterfeit book was originally published in Communist China last year, first in the Simplified Chinese characters used in Maoland.
The book was such a hit as a fake in China that a publisher-wannabe in free and democratic Taiwan got itchy fingers and agreed to license the fake China book for his easy to fool and very gullible Taiwanese readers. Done deal.
Some money exchanged hands, the original book was re-translated into the kind of Chinese characters that Taiwanese people can read - since the Simplified characters used in Maoland are simply beneath the dignity of real Chinese script - and the Taiwan version of the fake Chinese book was published in April.
It has already gone through 10 printings and more are on the way, given the worldwide publicity on this deceitful yet perfect story.
How did this reporter find out that the book was published originally in "copyright means the right to copy" China? Simple. On the publication notes page is the email address of the publisher in Beijing: ydmp@yahoo.cn
The ''cn" gives it away.
A man named David Wu is also in on the fakery, and his email is listed as david.wu@ecorebooks.com (he appears to be the Taiwanese contact).
The alleged author, a chap named "John Cage", who of course is dead, did not respond to this reporter's emails. Not yet. Maybe there's email in Heaven?
As previously reported, Taipei police are now investigating the case, and if the ''publisher'' is found guilty of deceiving the public, he could be in for some jail time. Or a big fat fine.
The publisher in Taipei still maintains that the book is legit and that all copyright protections are in order.
John Brownlee at the Cult Of Mac website got it right with a cute headline that read: "Steve Job Releases Taiwanese Self-Help Book For Teenagers Translated By Dead Avant Garde Composer."
Brownlee added: "[The] entire book was translated by the famous avant garde composer John Cage, who is apparently alive and well in Taipei! Whats a wonderful choice for a man to translate Jobs! After all, they’re both Buddhists!"
Human progress has always been measured by what the eyes could see because we, seemingly, are of the material only. Not when there are dimensions that are not material, of course. When so crippled, a human will gauge progress in the manner of the outside. That of without. Such an affliction therefore takes most peoples’ attention onto others. Judging/relating-to others, therefore, is the reason for existing for most. When humanity is thus unbalanced, it has little means of realising what is real and what is unreal. Simple realities aside, when it come to the higher truths, the higher the illusion-delusion goes, the harder the landing onto Reality it will be. So hard that next, you’ll be trying to justify your ignorance-conspiracy.
When one’s attention is focussed mainly on the width, depth takes a back seat. And what is the width? Width is the extremities, oka the sense, whereas depth is the “feeling” encompassing the extremities, oka its sensibility. These realities are seldom offered within education, especially the stupidity-cum-dumbness within education, oka “Education, education, education”. Teaching and grooming progeny to be like what is now a slobbering and rusting hulk of some iron personality and, of course, “Master Skullcapper”, now running amok within the pastures of “Chosen Fewry” as his attention is being diverted onto Immortality after having dwelt within the glories of Fame & Fortune. Might. And don’t they do well out of it. Finger-pointing. Every finger-pointer is merely shouting aloud about his guilt because to finger-point/judge is to be angry. Almost all humans have little realisation of how they are really constructed, to be ignorant being merely latently conspiratorial.
Coming to the sins of those sly, crooked and thieving chinkos, why do the “Whites”/”West” have such guilt about them? Because they have yet to come to terms with their past, their future merely being a version of their guilt-ridden past. It might be those dumb stupid slant eyes today but tomorrow, it can be anyone who dares trespasss/trips one’s guilt. When one lacks realisation of one’s infrastructure, one merely has stupidity or dumbness for company. Without one single exception because dumbness is one’s past/conditionings and ones stupidity is one’s egotism. Realise too that to disagree means absoluteness is at hand or one is, as per the norm, barking in company. The problem then, is that howling in solitude will be the future. When a human has anger and therefore guilt through indictment [or vice-veresa], he needs humility unless one is aboslute as in being absolute and not one of owning some knowldege to make one seemingly absolute. When there is duality, there cannot be reality. A Simplicity which Eludes.
Have no anger, and guilt cannot take hold and thereafter, anger-guilt only lies within those so afflicted. Humanity is about being examples of reality/truth and not one of promoting/creating truths. When you are truthful, others’ anger-guilt will merely be for their introspection. When the general population is so constructed, untruth cannot take hold. Regardless of the state and stage of one’s individual, familial, societial and national being/status-quo, when Reality manifests, a sea change will happen. Reality acts through humans because on our own volition and being, we are not real, being of “the living-dead”/thoughts. We are only as real as when we are physically alive. Thereafter, the perception of Reality returns with one caveat. Humans, oka thinkers, could only Evolve whilst physically alive on Earth [whereas non-thinkers like animals and vegetation could only evolve after their physical demise. Vegens and those of might be aware.] In this era of Depth, Width must take a backseat because business cannot be as usual anymore. Witness therefore as Reality offers the final lesson before the flood of justifications to maintain the Business of Might reverets back to Myth. Regardless of what others are doing, “News” is for the relaying of facts and not for the creation of facts for the maintenance of Might. If Might is all there is, the secret of The Sun, The One who sustains all things material, will be realised and deployed for all. As it is, should energy/all things material be free, Humanity will disappear faster. A Simplicity which Eludes.
