Action Man had it right: don't build a business model around skills you don't have.
As I write this:
There is a 3 year old HP laptop in the dustbin (warranty replacement for a bumpgate machine... replacement died of same problem - it did last 2 years longer than the first)
The new HP i-something desktop won't sleep properly and goes into shutdown.
The 3 year-old HP desktop has a motherboard gone tits-up
The 5 year old HP desktop is gutted and awaiting work because it runs like a herd of turtles.
On the plus side, a trusty HP calculator from the mid-80's sits here and continues to do well.
While HP stuff used to be great, it is now crap and everyone, including HP, is better off if HP were to stick to software.

Leo was doing the right thing.
