Problems with the 27-inch iMac display have now been acknowledged by Apple - late yesterday it release a firmware update to address so-called issues.
Issues means flaws, bugs or problems and the latest firmware promises to "address issues that may cause intermittent display flickering".
So if you've been irritated like heck because your fancy and very expensive display has been flickering and winking at you like a demented old lech, your problems might be at an end.
But the firmware update won't do you any good at all if you end up having a highly expensive display that shows a yellow tint. Apple hasn't admitted it's got a problem with that yet - it usually takes the company quite a while to spill all the "issue" beans.
