Foxconn has said sorry for a PR own goal which indicated that it thought that its Chinese employees were nothing but animals.
According to AP the outfit has been slammed by human rights groups who accuse the company of running a glorified sweatshop which treats its workers badly.
Apple Messiah Steve Jobs had to defend the company while he was alive and insisted Foxconn was not a sweatshop.
However, in what appears to be a desperate attempt to prove him wrong, Taiwan technology giant Foxconn has apologised over comments by chief Terry Gou allegedly comparing workers to animals.
Gou was quoted by Taiwanese media as saying "I have a headache how to manage one million animals." He was speaking at the company's year-end party in Taipei Zoo earlier this month.
The company issued a statement over the weekend to apologise to "anyone who feels offended" but stressed that Gou's remarks were taken out of context by the media.
Gou said that the media reports are misleading and offensive and he apologises to anyone who feels offended. However, he insisted that he did not deliberately slander the workers as some media described."
Most of the media reports we have seen suggested that it was not deliberate, just a Freudian slip which is probably just as bad.

Humans being Creatures of Duality, our “sin” for being of The Temporal/Transience is our need to repeat everything in order that we may then arrive at our moment of real choice, to be permanently constructive or to remain permanently destructive. For this indescribable moment of indecision, a partial human needs to realise that Humanity is neither Truth, Love nor Intelligence other than humans having to decide whether we should be truthful, loving or acting intelligentlky whenever the opportunity presents. Repetitively because the matter is still within the realms of thoughts [of the past & future/if’s & but’s] and not of permanence/present.
Self-absorbed people are mean and uncaring.
The Foxconn CEO is one of these people.
Human beings are imperfect and often make wrong decisions.
